Alison Annet Kinengyere is Head of the Sir Albert Cook Medical Library, Makerere University College of Health Sciences.
Annet Kinengyereis a trainer in Information Management and the Internal Examiner at the School of Library and Information Science, Makerere University. For the past seven years she has been involved in training students, researchers, and faculty in various institutions in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, and Ethiopia. She also supports the Africa Center for Systematic Reviews and Knowledge Translation at Makerere University College of Health Sciences as a Senior Information Scientist and Search Strategy Coordinator, and tutors in Evidence Synthesis for Masters Students in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
She has presented at international conferences including the Medical Library Association (MLA), International Federation of Library associations (IFLA) and Standing Conference of Eastern, Central and Southern African Library and Information Associations (SCECSAL), and the Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA).
Annet Kinengyereis a Cunningham Memorial International Fellowship grant winner (2009), and she holds a PhD in Information Science from Makerere University.
