Mr. Obbo Nicholas

Mr. Obbo Nicholas is Library clerk working with Makerere University Main Library.  He has a Certificate and Diploma in Library and Information Science from East African School of Library & Information Science (EASLIS). He was first appointed to the service of Makerere University December 1990. He worked as a custodian in Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) now renamed College of Education and External Studies (CEES).

He was appointed as a Library Assistant/Security and transferred to the Main Library in 1991. In 1995, he was promoted to Senior Library Assistant.  In 2004 – 2008, he worked in East African School of Library and Information Science thereafter, was transferred to CCE again. In 2014, he was brought back to Main Library where he is serving to-date.
