Mrs Ferrie Nalusse Mateega is a Librarian currently Head of Technical Services Section. She has a Master in Information Technology for Libraries from University of Pretoria and Bachelor in Library & Information Science of Makerere University.

She has worked in Makerere University Library since 2006, beginning as an Information Processing Assistant on retrospective data conversion project. She participating in transforming manual catalogue into automated format in Virtua Library System. She also worked with EDLIB project which was a capacity building for automation of library systems for staff of Juba University in Southern Sudan between 2007-2009. She has wide skills in cataloguing, classification, database management, information organization, information literacy, data mapping, data migration of library systems and piloting library transformation data files.

Due to her impeccable record of work, she was awarded best cataloguer the year 2008 and best Database Quality Controller in the year 2009.
