This library is located in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and provides support to the teaching and research activities of the faculty through: the acquisition, processing, maintenance and dissemination of acquired information; facilitation of access to all forms of information required by the faculty; and improvement of library and information services by providing quality services that satisfy the needs of library users.
The library provides information services to undergraduate and post graduate students, lecturers, researchers and all those interested in Veterinary Medicine information.
A Message from the Librarian
Iam pleased to welcome you to the College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources, and Biosecurity (COVAB) Library. With a seating capacity of 150 library users and a computer lab, we are dedicated to meeting the academic research and information needs of our students, faculty, and researchers. COVAB Library is a dynamic academic hub that includes a diverse collection of physical and electronic materials, including books, theses and dissertations, journals, and databases. These were carefully selected to support our community’s teaching, learning, and research. Whether you are a student, faculty member, or researcher, you are welcome to browse our library’s resources, attend Information Literacy training classes, and make use of our study area.
The Library space is meant to provide a conducive and enabling environment for academic activities so all users are expected to adhere to the guidelines as stated below.
