Message from College Team Leader
The College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS) Library was formed as a result of an operational merger between the former Faculty of Economics and Management (FEMA) and the Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (ISAE) now School of Statistics and Planning (SSP). One section of the Library is housed at School of Business on Block B, ground floor; and the second section is located at the School of Statistics and Planning building near the Main Library.
CoBAMS library collection consists of a wide range of digital and physical resources. Our print books and periodicals are in subjects such as; economics, business, marketing and management, human resources, accounting and finance, statistics, population studies among others. The library’s collection, also has theses, dissertations and research papers from faculty members, and students.
The Library’s electronic resources comprise of databases, eBooks, eJournals, journal articles, book chapters, eThesis and dissertations and much more provided by the University Library are accessible online at https://mulib.mak.ac.ug.
These resources can be accessed while on campus and off-campus by registering with university email in our remote access systems called MyLOFT (https://app.myloft.xyz/).
Through the Document Delivery Service, our users who fail to get full-text articles from the available databases can make requests for the articles at no cost using the library’s email: cobamslibrary@gmail.com

We also provide information and digital literacy trainings, to help you learn to independently navigate the library eResources and have skills and knowledge to use various digital tool for your research. Please contact the library to schedule training for yourself or class.
The Library space is meant to provide a conducive and enabling environment for academic activities so all users are expected to adhere to the guidelines as stated below.
