Welcome Message from College Team Leader

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

Welcome to the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology Library! As your College Librarian, I am excited to support you in your educational journey. The library is a vibrant hub of learning, collaboration, and discovery. The primary task of CEDAT library is to select, maintain, and provide access to relevant information resources.

Due to technological developments, our collection has expanded to include digital materials. We ensure that you have access to the latest research and information at your fingertips. In addition, we offer a variety of services designed to assist you in your studies. We have ample space within the library where you can study individually. 

We conduct training throughout the semester on topics such as Information Literacy, Citation Management, and Digital Tools that can enhance your academic work. I invite each of you to explore what our library has to offer.

Borrowing services:

  • Textbooks with multiple copies can be borrowed for a period of 2 weeks.
  • Theses and dissertations are strictly used within the library (cannot be borrowed).

Rules & Regulations at the Libraries

The Library space is meant to provide a conducive and enabling environment for academic activities so all users are expected to adhere to the guidelines as stated below.  

Please adhere to the Rules & Regulations:

  • Observe silence in all library areas.
  • Smoking and consumption of food and drinks are forbidden in all parts of the library.
  • Mobile phones are not allowed in the library. A fine of 5000/= is charged for use of mobile phones within the library.
