Carol Tino

Carol Tino works as a Librarian with Makerere University library in the Book Bank / acquisitions section. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science and an MSc. in Information Systems.

She started her professional journey as an intern with the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda and has since gained experience working with academic libraries in both private and public academic institutions as well as legal deposit libraries.

She is ably competent in general processing of information resources, collection development, provision of guidelines in setting up libraries. Her research interests are mainly on library policies, fake information in libraries and children’s literature.
